Smile Shutter is a setting on a camera (primarily Sony) that will not take a picture unless your subject is smiling.

Shekhar thought to himself fiddling with his new camera trying to get a know how of its settings. He closed the tab on his laptop on which he had just googled 'smile shutter'. He was about to put the new found interest to good use when the lights went off.
"Another electricity cut!! So what. I'll just click anyway. Logically the camera won't click because there's no one to smile for us eh? . Let's see if this thing works."
He focused randomly right in front of him and clicked. A faint chuckle made the hair on his neck stand.
